Never ever forget, the hand that delivered you from the throes of death. (That eternal separation from thy creator.)
David reminds us. Listen to him in Psalm 103, “Bless the Lord ohhh my soul, and all that is within me bless His Holy Name”. He goes on to say, “ Bless the Lord ohhh my soul and forget not His Benefits.” And then he goes on to list the benefits of being in covenant relationship with God:
He forgives all your sins
He heals all your diseases
He redeems your life from destruction, ( that’s premature death) you can’t forget that
For what we keep in remembrance concerning our loving heavenly, He remembers concerning us.
Psalm 103:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
103 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
