2 Timothy 1:7
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Hebrews 1:3
(Jesus) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high
Walking through, walking through, not stopping to gander, nor shrinking to meander. Walking through leaves us with this connotation, that this is a temporary trek. I’m going on to bigger and better things. I will use this experience as wind in my sail. I will keep a close eye on the Good Shepherd and step in cadence with Him. I will give thanks that salvation is for me all the days of my life. I will seek in ever way imaginable to lead others to the Good Shepherd, and trusting in His Word.
Psalm 23King James Version
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever
Wow, if only we had known, that God is so deeply and highly educated. Lol, we would have approach his word in a different way. We would have relaxed, and examined every event that took place, against what was spoken by Him. We would have created mental hypothesis which would have provoked further investigations, and would have arrived at the conclusion, that what we see in God word is not just an optical illusion, but indeed It means just exactly what it says.
Isaiah 40:10-14
10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. 11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. 12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counseller hath taught him? 14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

It’s so important to find out who the sender is and analyze the motive for the message. That sounds very trivial but my brothers and sisters, what you receive, and accept, and clasp to your bosom, will affect your life, your destiny, your physical health, your emotional health, your well being, your protection, your longevity, and so on. Now lets look at an example:
◄ 2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
“Being Exalted through the abundance of revelation”… The more that is revealed to you by God, if you act upon it, it will give you the ability to walk closer to Him than ever before, if it is applied
The Apostle Paul said there was given……there was given…. When you read this verse in it’s entirety, the question should arise in your mind, who gave him that thorn? Was it God? We know it couldn’t have been God because that violates what Jesus taught. In Luke 10: 19 he says, Luke 10:19 “19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you”
Mark 16:17
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils……
Matthew 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Paul himself wrote in Ephesians 6:10-17
10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Why Would Paul ask God to remove a thorn that He already had been given authority over to do something about himself. Why would God give Paul a Thorn and then tell Him his Grace was sufficient contradicting all that been taught previously? No, Paul wasn’t walking in the light of those abundant revelations. Satan was side stepping him and confusing him on the issue.
Warning, as Jesus taught, He said take heed what you hear, for the way you hear, it shall be measured to you. Those Holy Men of Old received much revelation, that doesn’t mean they always walked in it.
Mark 4:23- 25
23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
Do you know you can loose everything you have by not analyzing the scriptures correctly?
Who doesn’t want to hear, “You Nailed It, Bravo! Performance Extraordinaire, Well Done, Good for You, Encore”? Such a since of pride in the accomplishments, all modesty set aside Lol! Yet, and the same thing can be true, as your spiritual Father congratulates you for the small kindnesses and the gentle strengthening that you demonstrate to the young and growing. He sees you as a precious, remarkable, priceless, on point, flawless, on fleek, when you take the knowledge of His word and take time with others and help them gain that same place.
Matthew 25:21 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord
Breaking this down to a simplistic form, if your walking and your feet are not aligned with the walkway, you may bump into a door, step off a cliff, fall into a pond, well you get the gist. We use our eyes and other sensory coordinations to maneuver us as we take steps, walk, or run. And so it is with the word of God, one must use visual aids, adjust our composure, and coordinate our steps in conjunction with the the parameters that He’s showing us. Not a difficult task if we stay with it. Let’s stay in proper alignment with our Loving God’s word, so that we can walk on water if we just have to. Jesus needs us to follow His example.
Mark 14:22-27
22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
There is beautiful Psalm. Psalms 121 set to music, or just meditated will, bring comfort. It will encourage and remind you that God, who in times past took care of His servants, will definitely take care of His children. “For the Lord is thy keeper,” well lets look at this Psalm together:
Psalm 121
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
