Learning to Wield The Sword Of The Spirit

Mark 4:39

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm

John 14: 12

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

If the storm is bigger than your image of God in you, problems will increase.

Begin to meditate, seeing yourself with the ability the Lord said you would have.

When you see yourself correctly, the sword of the spirit will work on your behalf.

Stand up And Share Your Testimony

Grace and Peace Be made available to you in a greater way.
Through the acknowledging of every good thing in you, and provided to you by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His Blood has secured your “now” and your “future.”
Revelation 12:11a
King James Version (KJV)
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;

I Will Be A Part Of Your Success

Love In it’s footnotes is stronger than you know. For in the midst of tribulation it digs it’s heels In the ground and refuses to move. Love is never apart of your downfall.

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psalms 1:1

The loveliest of all will help you succeed, when judgment would have caused you to descend and recede.

Would You Be Ashamed?

John 6:67

Jesus spoke to his own disciples saying, will you also go away? You see there are times when were called to follow him that appear so unappealing to the masses. However, when we make the decision to follow on, he brings us to a place of admiration; first of all from him, then to those who are seeking God with all their hearts. “Oh be willing to stand alone. It won’t belong till you will be joined by the uncompromisingly righteous. You will lock arms from coast to coast, bearing precious fruit,  says the Lord of host.” God speaks through vessel of clay still today.

How Do You See Yourself ?

Visions from my Father, in my head:

Visions that show me goodness; Visions that show me strength. Visions without partiality, Visions including me. Visions of my future; things he desires for me. Ohh the Visions of my head, there bringing me up from discouragement and dred.

Proverbs 29:18a King James Version (KJV)

Where there is no vision, the people perish..

The Remaining Power

Even throughout the trying times Jesus had experienced, and those that he was about to experience; he kept a continual theme amongst those his followers. That they would remain in his Joy. Understanding that without this vital and necessary ingredient, they would soon dry up and begin to wither away. But the powerful force of Joy brings with it the staying power, the persevering power, the acceleration power, the remaining power.

So he says to you today, “be of good cheer I have overcome the world!” John 16:33b

John 15:11

11 I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

No Place In You!

When you overcome the flesh, then Satan stands on the outside looking in. He can’t just get anything going against you once you’ve crucified it.

Jesus said the prince of this world cometh but he doesn’t have anything in me.  (Paraphrasing); Jesus said that the ruler of this world does not control my world.

Jesus, before his public ministry began; had to overcome the temptations of the flesh in the wilderness. And he did. How do we overcome and go through this process? It’s through relationship and with a working operational knowledge of the Word.
1 Cor. 9:26,27

26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

27 But I keep under my body ( the flesh), and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Tug of War

No complacency, not in this life. You must pull away from darkness to walk in the light. The path of least resistance is deemed as concession, because of Satan’s aggressive character so shake off that depression. Pull yourself into position to launch an offensive against derision. Hold fast to a moral character, so that as you approach the throne, you leave with everything you need. Your filled with joy, for his purposes, you took heed.
Psalm 1:1

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Enforcing Satan’s Defeat

God has already put the enemy to flight. Now you must enforce Satan’s defeat, by adhering to the Covenant established on better promises. You’ll have to open your mouth and declare the promises of God for your victory.  But be very careful that you don’t use your mouth as a snare that the enemy can catch you in.

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. Proverbs 6:2

A Surety For a Friend

Pressing is easier with a friend by your side.
God had so designed for you to lean heavy upon him, so that he could bare the brunt of that weight. With such a powerful helper, how can you fail? In the scripture we hear tell of a team; a yoke of oxen, working together. If the one were to stumble the other “sures up” the weight, and the one that stumbled can regain its footing and they continue on. You know the Lord has made himself a surety to you? I know that word has a different connotation in the context of scripture in the book of proverbs, but not really, ( God will pay your debt if you get into financial trouble’s, he’s got plenty, he’s for you. ) Allow him to link arms with you. Then as you press, you won’t lose your footing and collapse under pressure.

Mark 11:28-30

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
