14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Psalms 103:1-5
Psalm 103:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
103 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
When I recall the Lord’s gentle and merciful ways towards me, it reminds me that when I see others staggering and stumbling, to speak meekly and humbly to them. My my, you don’t know how a word spoken in season would have an affect upon them. That word especially spoken with tender concern can cause them to take a second look at what was said. For if in this life, I’m left to fend alone, for all comfort has departed and encouragement is gone, I could still achieve you see, but compassion and mercy would grant grace to me.

One of the things we learned to do, when walking by faith is to stay in position. We know naturally that if we walk forward, but abruptly begin to move backward, progress is impossible. So keep a steady pace. Sometimes moving just a bit slower will help you keep perspective upon the entire situation. Then so pleased shall you be when you look back and see how far you’ve come. 1 Cor. 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord
The Apostle John said, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” 3 John 1:2. A healthy mind is what is necessary to walk in prosperity. We take the water of the word and we soak our minds in it, allowing it to purge out all unhealthy data. And we stay under the fountain of his word; keeping our souls clean and pure Eph. 5:26. Then we are in the right shape to resist everything that would attempt to break through to our souls, and begin to weaken us again.
John 15:3-10
3 Now ye are clean through the word I have spoken 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love
In this life we are blessed, ohh, we have a Great Shepherd that leads us. He is the Good Shepherd, and he knows where we must go. He leads gently, and softly so that we can follow him correctly. He examines every situation that presents itself to us. Then he gives his counsel as we follow, shielding us from paths, that would cause us to stumble. There is no scarcity where he leads. but green pastures surrounding, still waters abundantly.
Psalms 23
1 (A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever

Hebrews 6:10-13. 10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13 Fot when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
